§ 22-91. Purpose.

It is the policy of the city to prevent excessive sounds that may jeopardize the health, welfare, or safety of the citizens of the city or degrade the quality of life in the city, particularly in the residential neighborhoods, and in accordance therewith the mayor and city council hereby adopts the provisions of this article, which provisions shall constitute the noise control code.
