§ 22-202. Penalty.

  • (a)

    Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $500.00 or imprisonment not to exceed six months, or both. Each act in violation of any provision of this article shall be deemed a separate offense. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. Upon conviction, the court may also fix the costs of abatement of the nuisance which is in violation of the article, if the nuisance has not been previously abated.

    (b)

    The prosecution of any such misdemeanor shall be tried in any court of competent jurisdiction.
