§ 2-2. Smoking in public places prohibited.

(a)

The buildings and public places owned and/or operated by the city are hereby designated as "Smoke free" and smoking is prohibited in all enclosed areas in such buildings and/or public places.

(b)

The mayor and/or his designee may designate limited smoking areas within such buildings and/or public places in accordance with the intent of this section and in keeping with the mandate of a smoke-free environment.

(c)

Compliance with this section shall be enforced in accordance with this Code and applicable administrative policies dealing with infractions of this section.
