§ 50-33. Signs or other markings.

Signs or other markings designating the established drug-free zones shall be located in a visible manner on or near each school and each school bus indicating that such area is a drug-free zone, that such zone extends to 1,000 feet of school property and that a felony violation of the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law within these zones will subject the offender to severe penalties under law, all in accordance with R.S. 40:981.3.
