§ 58-33. Accumulation of refuse.

No person shall permit the accumulation of refuse on any premises for an unreasonable period of time.

Any owner or lessor who avails himself or herself of the remedy of eviction as provided at law shall be obligated to concurrently arrange for and shall effectuate the removal and disposal of any and all movable property, furniture or goods of the lessee or occupant remaining on the premises which has not otherwise been immediately removed by the lessee or occupant.

The utilization of a covered container or receptacle of sufficient strength and capacity, and prompt removal thereof from the premises, shall be deemed compliance with this requirement.
