Appendix A. DEDICATION OF STREETS AND EASEMENTS

The following language shall be included in the Acts of Dedication of streets and easements:
Dedication:
The right-of-way of streets, if not previously dedicated, is hereby dedicated to the perpetual use of the public; all areas shown as easements are granted to the public for use of utilities, drainage, sewage removal or other proper purpose for the general use of the public.
Fences and shrubbery shall be permitted in drainage easements provided, however, that the City of Carencro shall have the right to remove same, if necessary to utilize the easement, at no cost to the City of Carencro and further said fences and shrubbery shall be placed on the landowner's property after removal from the easement. There shall be no obligation to replace any fence or shrub so removed.
