§ 66-83. Platting of portion of area; completion of improvements; certification of approval.

  • (a)

    The final plat may consist of only that portion of the approved preliminary plat which the subdivider proposes to record and develop at that time; provided, however, that such portion conforms to all requirements of this chapter and the plan for improvements developed for the entire area.

    (b)

    Before approving the final plat, the city will require proof that the improvements required in article VI of this chapter have been satisfactorily completed. If the final plat conforms to the approved preliminary plat and if the necessary improvements are constructed in accordance with the approval plans, the final plat shall be approved by the city council. The city shall act upon the final plat within 60 days after it has been submitted unless the subdivider agrees to the extension of this period.

    (c)

    The approval of the city shall be shown on the plat with the date of such approval and over the signature of the mayor, city planner and code department.
