§ 66-701. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

City for the purpose of this article, means the City of Carencro.

Enforcement agency means the Codes Department of the City of Carencro.

Person means any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or any other organization or legal entity of any kind.

Reasonable notice or notification means written notice sent by first class United States Mail, facsimile, overnight delivery service or hand delivery, properly addressed to the last known address of the owner, proprietor, lessee, mortgagee or any other person having any interest, legal or equitable, in the property on which the swimming pool is located.

Swimming pool means a body of water in an artificial or semi-artificial receptacle or other container, whether located indoors or outdoors, whether used or intended to be used for public, semipublic or private swimming, dipping, wading or immersion, by adults, children or both.
