§ 6-40. Expiration; transfer.

  • (a)

    Permits issued under this article are not assignable or heritable and are good only from the time of issuance to November 16 of the year for which issued, unless sooner suspended or revoked.

    (b)

    In the event of dissolution of partnership by death, the surviving partners may operate under the partnership permit. Receivers and trustees may also operate under the permit of the person succeeded. This subsection shall apply only to permits for beverages of high alcoholic content.

    (c)

    Where the location of the business is changed, the change shall be noted on the permit by the issuing authority.
