§ 50-69. [Number of fireworks stands operating within the city.]

The number of stands/establishments engaged in the sale of fireworks within the city shall hereafter be limited to those such stands/establishments as are currently authorized to operate within the City of Carencro, or were so authorized to operate anytime during the 2016 calendar year. In addition, in order for any such stand/establishment to engage in the sale of fireworks in the future, the owner/operator of said stand/establishment must obtain from the city administration a permit authorizing such operation by presenting to same documentation which confirms that the owner/operator of such stand/establishment is the owner of the property upon which such stand/establishment is, or will be, located, or that such owner/operator has a contract with the owner of the property upon which said stand/establishment is, or will be, located, which said contract authorizes such operation.
