§ 78-131. Connection to system.

  • (a)

    The owners of all houses, buildings, or properties used for human occupancy, employment, recreation, education, or other purposes, situated within the city or any area under the jurisdiction of the city in which there is now located or may in the future be located a public sanitary sewer of the city, are required, if within 300 feet of the sewer system, to connect the facilities directly with the public sewer within 90 days after date of official notice to do so, provided that the public sewer is accessible to the house, building or property.

    (b)

    A fee which is on file in the city clerk's office shall be paid to the city clerk for the permit to connect with the city sewer system.

    (c)

    The sewer rates to all sewer customers or users of the city sewer system shall be determined in accordance with provisions of section 78-81 of this chapter.
