§ 50-8. Fines and penalties for traffic and misdemeanor violations.

(a)

The Carencro City Council hereby amends the Code of Ordinances, adding a new section, fines and penalties, for traffic [and misdemeanor] violations committed in the City of Carencro which are set forth and described in Exhibit One, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

(b)

The city council of the City of Carencro hereby authorizes, through the instant ordinance, the future imposition, revision and/or modification of any and all fines and/or penalties associated with the various traffic and/or misdemeanor violations committed within the City of Carencro, and adjudicated in and by Carencro Mayor's Court (as well as the disposition of same in accordance with applicable law), by means of a resolution, duly considered and adopted by the Carencro City Council.
